To the left is my cut 908. At the time of the photo it did one stage of Dakar and the first day of the MX1K.
I ended up changing it for another 1 stage Dakar 908 to do the last 2 days.
Had mousses front and rear.

Worked perfect, and I will run this again but with a fresh tire this time.

Did you use the 606 on the front also? I'd considered the moose route, but (cross my fingers and knock on wood) I've had good luck with Bridgestone UHD tubes with slime.

No kidding? That wore well. I've never used them. Another possible tire option. I have used the 606 on the rear for long D/S riding here in Idaho. They seem to wear well for how I handle the throttle.

No I ran (1) Maxxis Desert IT with a moose the whole way at the Baja 1000
The D606 rear will work great for you on your 450x

I am still working on my Tire deal for 2013 but I will be running Mooses front and rear at this years MK1

I ordered a few sets of Pirelli Scorpian Rally tires for my F800GS. I ran these tires in a local sandy hare scramble, and they performed well. Does anyone know how these tires will perform in a desert race?

It is a great tire a little skidish at first .

I am just doing a quick trip on the 950. I might be able to head down when you are there. Where are you going to be?

I need to do some testing on honzilla and the new/old yamaha. Maybe I will see you down threr.
