New Years Day Big Bike/Small Bike Ride AZ

Last year we did the Oatman Massacre Site ride and into Gil Bend. The weather this year looks like it's going to be perfect and 70 degrees and I am thinking we have alot better riding up around the north west side of Phoenix.

So here is the plan.

8.30 Meetup - Coffee and Donuts at my house. North Peoria off Lake Pleasant.

9.00 Kick Stands Up

The route will be doable on a big bike by B riders or better and doable for C riders or better on a small bike so choose your weapon well

Stage from my house and hit the dirt right out the back door, we will do a route that will have us in Wickenberg around lunch provided we move along with out to much delay..... there will be many bailout points if someone needs.

Once we get to Wickenberg there are many choices for the return route and depending on time and group feelings we will pick one at this point.

Thats all the information I am willing to offer for now.

If you are up for some fun and adventure then reply to this post and I will create a rider list.

You might be right but this ride will not be a wide open road tour.... there will be a good mix of everything on this one.

I am in, if I am not there on time look for my bike in the middle of I-10 like the last time I tried to make Oatman ride.

I added the meetup time and KSU time. Looks like the weather should be ok.

Depending on the size and skill level of the group the route may change. I have a route in mind that will have us using part of Buckhorn. If needed we could ride all of Buckhorn but I am hoping to take a route that is a little more challenging in spots.

Also if we get a small group of good riders we can have lunch in Crown King or Prescott but I am thinking the weather might make it to cold up that high.

I would like to do this. Started the day fixing a flat on Levi's 620 then the 525 wouldn't start, after fiddling a bit got it going

. If weather still looks good and I can talk Levi into it. Will let ya know in a day or 2. How far is your place from 15th ave and Union Hills? wonder about riding the 525 over to your place or trailer?
