So her's a little bit more about the Emigrant Trails and Soldier Meadow rides.
The enthusiasm from you So. Cal. guys is Great!! I'm always amazed at how much water there is in the desert in early summer. ![]() You can still see the ruts from the wagon wheels of pioneers on there way to Oregon in the mid 1800s on this section of the Applegate Trail. ![]() And I can't even count how many old mines, ranches, and homesteads we explore. ![]() ![]() ![]() On the second day of both rides near the end of our day we visit the site of the B-24D Crash site in Southern Oregon. On February 9th 1945 the 11 member crew left Gowen Field Near Boise Idaho for a Training mission to Hamilton Field in California. The plane crashed on the rocky peaks at about 10:00 pm that night all crewmen were lost ![]() ![]() ![]() Well so there's a little more about the rides I'll post a little more later . Thanks Bob

i plan on heading up your way next summer.
i've spent plenty of time in Chico. i was on my 1977 Honda 550F and explored some of the gravel mountain roads about 10 years ago. i love it up there. i could see living there someday. i'll hit you up when i plan a trip up there.

Well time I got back to this thread, so I'll start out with another
FREE entry into the BOOMTOWN RALLY. This is a a fantastic ride, September 28th and 29th with a different loop each day from the Boomtown Casino just West on Reno Nevada. I've got A,B,and C loops on this ride so it's great for any riders from A level single track to scenic Adventure bike routes. So this time there's a hook ( I've got to make a living somehow ) the first inmate to purchase ANYTHING from the Ironman Dual Sport Gear and Parts Store, http://shop.ironmandualsport.com/cat...2?categoryId=8 Wins the FREE entry. I sell every product from the manufactures listed even if it doesn't show up in the store and just added REKLUSE auto clutches so if you don't see it listed send me an email bob@ironmandualsport.com or the old fashioned way just call me at 530-680-6019 Here's some pics and video I through together from pre- riding the Boomtown Rally. Thanks and I can't wait to see who wins. Bob ![]() ![]()

Thanks roundtripping ! I have to admit when I first saw this thread I figured
my little business would be lost in a sea of vendors post from companies that have a huge developed product line and developed advertising. To my surprise so far it's just been me, must admit I kind of like the opportunity. So here's some more. Of course the FREE entry for the Boomtown Rally is still available that's $100 entry for a great ride just for buying anything in my Gear and parts Store, http://shop.ironmandualsport.com/cat...2?categoryId=8 Of course being an AMA promoter and putting on some of the best dual sport rides in the country doesn't quite pay the bills. I spend most of the winter months wrenching on bikes in my shop and rely heavily on my online store for support I work pretty hard to make sure the products I carry are the best you can buy Here are a few of the brands we just added Double Take Mirrors, you've seen them, read about them, etc. They're Great!! and of course you can buy them here, http://shop.ironmandualsport.com/cat...categoryId=219 ![]() REKLUSE auto clutches, I just became a Rekluse dealer last week. Can't wait to try this out on the trails this weekend, and check out the added left hand rear brake! I've had Rekluse clutches on bikes before and several of the guys I ride with love them All I can say is every good thing you've heard about Rekluse is true. Buy them here http://shop.ironmandualsport.com/cat...categoryId=220 ![]() ![]() Golan, Super Mini fuel filter. If you have a fuel injected bike you need one of these! In fact with all the garbage in our fuel and what I see in the bowl or clogging the jets of the carbs I work on, these are going on all my bikes. You guessed it you can buy them here, http://shop.ironmandualsport.com/cat...categoryId=221 ![]() Well that's all for now, thanks for taking the time to look at my stuff and remember to Join the Ironman Dual Sport Riders Club (it's free) for info on all our rides and club member only discounts! Sign up here, http://www.ironmandualsport.com/

Great !!! Scott. I look forward to having you on the ride! Send me an email,
bob@ironmandualsport.com so I can get your contact info etc. I'll also send you a discount code to use during checkout for any purchase in the Gear and Parts Store. Strange as it may seem I rarely get a chance to go on other guys rides, we have a pretty big "secret" single track trail system that I spend a lot of time riding and maintaining. Plus I'm one of those guys who's fighting the Forest Service for every inch of trail we can open or get approved. Along with that, putting on my own rides, I'm always trying to explore new routes for new rides. I generally ride about 2000 miles to come up with the tracks for a 350 -,400 mile two day ride. Anyone can ride from point A to point B or look on the map and connect dirt roads, but to make a Great Ride you have to get out there and ride every road, trail etc. to find the good stuff. Yep, it sucks but I'm a gluten for punishment. Well enough of that, look forward to riding with you Scott and thanks again. Bob Here's a little something, don't laugh to hard

Well like I've said before, I'm terrible at taking pictures and videos.
So in an effort to get some really cool video I decided to mount the GoPro on different locations on my bike while out riding the trails. Didn't work out so well. Join the Ironman Dual Sport Riders Club and get a chance to ride all the great rides you may never see on video! http://www.ironmandualsport.com
