I put new tires, bars and grips on that shiny new DR 350 yesterday, then took it for a nice 25 mile blast to scrub the tires in. It was 42 degrees and sprinkling rain. I ain't no fair-weather rider.

Did some really fun off road on it and commuted about 65 miles a day into Seattle with it. Really wish I still had it. It was also the only Japanese bike I've ever owned that the engine blew up on (under warranty), but was just about the perfect bike. I alsp rode an XT225 for a few years and liked it to.
Well, the DR has made one of the KLRs redundant. This one has about 1500 mile miles on it now, if I remember correctly. I paid $2150 for it, then put about another $100 into it for fluids, filters, bar risers, etc. It's pretty flawless, as you can see. Starts in one kick. If you wanna pay me what I have into it, and pay to ship it to Hawaii, just let me know

Well, I do like to keep them clean

I do kinda go overboard on the detailing (but I ride 'em too!) My '82 GS750E:

My old ZR-7S

I have/have had many super-clean rides. I could show you many more, but that would be bragging

Detailing secrets

Well I very rarely wash a bike. I wash them once, very thoroughly, then I just make sure to spend ten minutes wiping them down with damp paper towels after every ride. Other than that, I wax them with Nu Finish a couple of times a year, and I go through lots of Q-tips.

The TW200 forum is down due to viruses!.
Even another web site as to where too go for purchase would be quite helpful!.On a side not,I'm almost ready to buy a Shorai battery for the TW;a bit expensive, but no more worries about spilling or leaking acid(s)!.
I think Earth X is a better deal with the balancing circuitry built in.
