Coles are currently selling a 7" Android tablet, bundled with a Telstra broadband thingie (and 5 gb data, apparently).

http://ausdroid.net/2012/12/17/huawe...49-from-coles/

I bought one on Saturday night (@Coles Griffith, NSW), coz a 10" tablet is too big for my tank bag.

I've tested the GPS using My Tracks and it seems to work OK, so I thought other inmates might be interested.

I think the deal finishes today.

It appears I didn't. Must've been in the garage RD tinkering.

So, if Faye dear is this slow on a DR, how slow is he on the Tedium?

For once my internet went fast enough to watch the videos. Maybe all the other dodo users are on holidays ATM

I must say I liked the soundtrack in the second one.
It was neeeeerly as good as this one but nothing beats the awesome sound of the KLR tearing up a hill.

There was one corner towards the end of the video where you could see how much the bike was walking around on the knobs of the rear tyre. It really was unnerving.. Doubt I will ever use a mitas stone king again unless it gets incredible milage.

BTW - nice job with camera work Ray. It seems that you have the angle pretty much spot on to get just the right amount of picture in the frame.
Would be nice to get some footage of the XJ one day.

Faye dear ..is your offer still current ??...had a test ride today...( not a new one )....I was underwhelmed....but...no vibes , enough power for me, much lighter feel than my orange..

the 5 knot NW made was blowing me all over the road...noisy staintune a pain in the rse...each time I switched of the indicators I hit the horn button...wanted to stall at the lights...seat was crap. all cramped up and got a back ache.....no leg room ...I need to try the bar risers and lower pegs before I write the idea off.......

It's there whenever it suits you for as long as you like. Heading to Tumut on the 3rd on it and back home via a million twisty roads on the 4th. PMed you my number.
