It looks like we can avoid the steps by a couple of differnt trails but if it gets to bad we can go back thru Box Canyon and take 79 to the Cottonwood Canyon Road

My thoughts are that no one should do anything that they are not comfortable with including myself.

If Martinez mine is closed we can just continue on the the Ajax mine. There are a ton of trails out in this area to explore.

Here's a video a quickly put together. A bit long but fun to watch I think. I had a blast specially when my confidence level went up after falling the first time. It's a shame I didn't catch that in the video though. I learned that the mighty DR650SE is so forgiven and capable that it's making me forget my heavy Kawasaki Versys very fast.

In the not distant future we need to meet up and get Loren to help us with a tech day and change Ricardo's front
tire. I have a spare Kenda just like Jack's front tire and he likes his. If Jack likes it then it must get some pretty good
grip.

How does Saturday sound for Sheep's bridge? We can maybe do Ricardo's front tire during the week if his and Loren schedule permits.

Sorry Bill, Saturday is a no-go for me I have stuff going on this weekend. You guys have a great ride and I would be happy to do a mid-week tire swap provided I stop coughing. I think I got a bit of a cold but should be okay in a couple for sure.

Well Bill, It looks like Jack should be back next weekend. I should have a headlight and brake lights wired up. Maybe Rick can get the day off by then. That leaves you and Loren. If you two can make it next weekend it would work for me. I just figured that I should chime in since Saturday is coming up shortly. I will email Jack to make sure but I would bet he is in. Rick if you read this post call write, text, email one of us if you want to swap out your front tire for the next ride.
