660,000 with a documented rebuild at 500k and a clutch 60,000 ago.

It would be but it's way too long as it is, the wheelbase is 27 feet.

I can barely get out of the driveway without making a three point turn.

There is 24' of framerail behind the sleeper so the box was at least that long.

That does look like a great deal. I just bought a Nissan UD1800 for $3K but didn't see much else in the way of an expeditor truck that was either less than $20K or had under a million miles on it. Where did you find it?

I first saw it locally parked at a trucking outfit.

At the time I had just purchased the other engine and transmission and was committed to that.

I did call the owner who lives in Mass to see how much he wanted at the time, which was $8,000. It still had the box on it then as well.

I had seen it advertised over the summer while browsing ebay and a locall wantad.

Once I came to the realization that the transmission/gearing situation wasn't going to work with the bus the gears started turning in my mind but I couldn't find this truck listed anywhere.
Luckily when I looked at it in the spring I took some pictures and sure enough I was able to see the phone # and called just hoping that it might still be available.
It was and here it is.

I think that's the way it works Nate. A lot of good stuff just isn't moving. I am taking notes right now on trailers with the idea that I might be able to get a deal if they don't sell in about 6 months.
