Already been and gone in New Zealand .... now it is our turn.

Christmas day for me will be praying to the KTM doing a Voltage Reg relocation, tank etc back on and a little extra work we didn't count on.

Anyway, all the best to you fullas, fullesses and families.

Hey you two,
A very safe, happy and enjoyable Christmas to you both. I sure hope Maya stomps up to the challenge and provides you with trouble free riding for the rest of your trip into 2013. You certainly deserve it, and after a good clean I am sure she will look beautiful.
Stonking hot here in Wanaka with 30ºC and moderate westerlies but all in all a beautiful day.

35.2 degrees in Alexandra yesterday, and Wanaka wasn't far behind. Enjoy that cooler northern hemisphere christmas.

Have a great christmas both of you.

Well, I will come clean.

Maya arrived with a guts ache and covered in shit, we started her up when we picked her up to find a bad rattle, I took her straight to Zen motorcycle, we ended up having the waterpump replaced and other work.

I contacted the previous owner the moment we startred her up, I have emailed him and phoned him and he has gone to ground, he left us with a big bill and some pretty bad taste in our mouth as the ad was advertising something substantially better than what we received

Nice guy!!!

Wow that sucks. If not for bad luck........
Hopefully it will now turn around for you

Do you feel it will be a trusted steed once the current problems are dealt with?

You would think so wouldn't you, I wanted to keep it below the deck and deal with the previous owner but he will not respond to any emails of phone calls.

Not going to be too long before I hang the dirty laundry out on him.

Sent with bad waterpump, fooked shitty oil, stuffed oil filter and shit all through the motor .... bit disappointing really.

Yeah feel a bit robbed, selling a few more goodies off her JUST to pay for repairs to bring her back up to standard.

The rear CJ Designs tank was leaking fuel from a crack too, no mention of that in the sales pitch

Trust ... not there yet, the battery appears to be half poked as well, another $180.00!!!!!

So please feel free to visit the Flea market so I can turn the cool parts into normal necessary replacements of fooked stuff!!!!

Bike wasn't such a great buy and I am starting to regret it, days of repairs and blowing extra money wasn't in the scheme of things.

Hey Andi and Ellen,
Just been into town for a feed and resolved to PM you if there was no action here. OK so lots of action so no PM. But FFS speal the guys name out there. What a low down piece of shit he is to act the way he has. Someone needs to punch his lights out! What a twat!
Anyway, enough, enough. You two have plenty of options and throwing in the towel is definitely NOT one of them, so lift ya chins up and get on with it. Look forward to a skype soon - when you turn it on that is.

I pharking hate it when they misrepresent their bikes, just went through that a couple years back and expensive lesson. And then again last week, at least did not buy the last one and got a little moonshine breakfast out of all that driving in the snow.
