Anyone Have Experience With Shorai Inc LFX18A1-BS12 LITHIUM BATT 18AH 12V Battery?

Looking like Maya needs a new battery too , looking at these as an alternative.

Good or bad?, anyone give us the lowdown on plus or minus?

Cheers Andi

Got one right now, but I didn't put many miles on it before the weather turned cold.

I can tell you I was impressed by the variety of filler foam provided for installation, and that it cranks noticeably more vigorously than the stock Yuasa did, but then it was 5 years old when I replaced it.

That's about all I have until the weather warms.

Shorai experience

Mine wouldn't crank below 40F. I repeatedly tried the factory's recommended battery warm-up procedure and even two different batteries. Without success. Went back to stock unit. Good luck!
