Squashed radiator on the DRZ, deep in the woods. We were able to block off the hoses to the squashed rad and ride it out of there on the other one back to the truck, 20 miles away. Bike did not overheat. DRZs are tough :)
   This was all during the '07 Thumpertalk ride in Colorado. I was the advanced group trail boss. Totally got lost, the guy above smashed his rad, another ran out of gas. It was an awesome ride! Tall tales

That is a nifty trail side temporary repair you made. I love the sticks jammed down the hoses.Sounds like you guys had an epic adventure.
