I bought one of these in early December.
I REALLY like it so far. Wore it all day yesterday while quad riding in the snow. And I have worn it three times on my motorcycle (before we got the snow). My other two helmets are an HJC Symax and a Nolan Trilogy. I like this helmet as much, if not more than the Trilogy but not quite as much as the HJC. I DO like the visor feature and wished the HJC had it. (Which may explain why I also own the Nolan Trilogy). My son also just bought a much more expensive Fox MX helmet and he likes the Bilt better. I decided for $99 I could try it. I wanted full coverage that doesn't flip up, but wanted it to have a wide viewing opening AND be glasses friendly. This helmet fit all those criteria. It "feels" like pretty good quality, not quite as nicely finished as the Nolan but I didn't expect it to be. It is a bit noisy but not as noisy as the Nolan and really not that bad considering it has a visor hanging in the windstream. I think about any helmet under several hundred dollars is going to make you compromise in some "wants" and this is no exception but it is pretty nicely made and has a lot of features for it's price. I would buy another one. The only negative - one of the screws that holds the black leading edge cover on the visor fell out and it makes a vibration that resonates. I taped it down temporarily and vibration issue was fixed. Now to see if I can get them to send me a new screw... Jay |

Bilt hit a home run with this helmet, I think. I'm trying out their ADV pants and jacket line as soon as my pants size arrives. I liked them in the store. Very well built.

i rode with my bilt helmet yesterday for about 160 miles. nice and comfy, quieter than my last helmet for sure which was a afx37 and seems to keep the wind out pretty good too.well worth the 99 bucks to me.

i think i would have gone for the 69 dollar one but i painted parts already! the flip down visor is nice but a little too light tinted and with the shield up too much wind on my eyes with the tinted visor.
