The Étang de Montady (the "pond of Montady") is a drained lagoon or wetland believed to have been constructed by the Visigoths and completed by monks during the 13th century. The area was drained by making radial ditches from a single center point out to the extremities. The water flows to this center point and is then drained through an underground culvert. The field plots are of a triangular configuration due to the radial lines from the center.

The Étang de Montady is near Colombiers, midway between Béziers and Narbonne, in southern France.

I just picked up my 04 adventure with 4400 miles on it a few months ago. I have only taken a few trips with it since.

WUMPA is one of the units that has me jonesing for one so bad it ain't funny! If you get a chance lookup the build done on an FZ1 in Forida, that too, is SWEET! He has a video of him throwing her sideways on some dirt roads down there that is AMAZING! Like Drone, I find travel in the hack both limiting and liberating. I kept my 2 wheeled GS for those times when I just want to rocket down dirt roads and forest trails...but long distance adventures have been completely transformed by having my furry companion by my side.

I couldnt....lol....I have only had it for 2-3 months and have nearly doubled that mileage....It would be more but it needs new tires, had downtime for fuel fittings breaking, a fuel leak at the o-ring by the fuel pump/filter and now has been down for a seized starter. Rebuilding the starter today and ordering tires...Then the real mileage can start
