My pleasure to be virtually riding along, Dave! Not sure where this year will take me, but if I am out your way I will be sure to say 'hey'. Also if you happen to get my way, I am now "bi-coastal" which in Michigan means Lake Huron to Lake Michigan. So if you happen to find yourself on either side of the enchanted mitten, you and Julie have a place to stay! Enjoy every mile!

On the road again.......with iDave. My world is righted again. My initial encounter with ADV forum was with Kaneman. It was a fantastic if not controversial thread that I hated to see end. Then I stumbled on iDave, Julie and Loveshack. All his reports are as capivating as it gets. Then I picked up on GSBones and Iceman and my days and nights were filled with the wonder of iDaves photography and writing of these unbelievable adventures. Its been a long time since I've seen a post from Bones or iDave and I was truly concerned something was amiss. But to wrap this up, as I said in the beginning, the world had been righted again.

There's trouble...
We lost our 14yr 5 month old Husky to cancer earlier this year, rescued a 9 month old Husky shortly afterwards.
That pup is trouble!! Huskies are a different breed. Thanks to our 9 month old, my wife just discovered it's going to cost $768 to replace the chewed seat belts in her truck! Enjoy, dogs rule. Back to the report....

Nice bike, I have the same one. I'm about 50k behind you on the mileage but I'll do my best to catch up. Thanks for telling your story.

Nice!
In with a grin,
to see where you've been. Righteous good report as usual! I've got some stuff in common with you, especially the empty nest thing and the roller-coaster of emotions that your own business brings. Thanks for sharing. Dave

Good to see another thread, Dave. Orlando, you say? Spittin' distance from here. By the way, writing from the heart is what sets your thread apart. Anyone can write a travelogue. Lookin' forward to further installments. Cheers, Mike, roller coaster rider
