DR200SE OEM muffler mod

I did a few mod's today

1. removed airbox lid
2. Modafied the OEM muffler
3. drilled air screw plug on carb
4. Removed evap system.

I didn’t have jets to do the job right, just messed with the air screw, the thing was turned all the way in LEAN! it's probably about 3 turns or more out now (temporary fix until I re jet) I have got to say it feels like I doubled the horsepower doing the above, major improvement on 1/8 throttle or less.

If anybody knows what the aftermarket needle # is I'd appreciate it.

Chopping in band saw, in-between the spot welds and end. Remove the 4 spot welds on the end cap, you will need to reuse it.

I had a SS handy cap rail in the scrap box the same diameter

The flange happened to be the correct size as well, (guess I used up all my luck for the day)
