This stove rocks!
I would buy this stove again any day.
If you want to reduce weight in your gear this is the way to do it. Never again pack special fuel. Heet has been available everywhere I have bought fuel. It basically can't fail, unlike an expensive MSR multi fuel stove. And it stores inside of a cup you use for cooking. Brilliant. Thanks Shady! BH

I have had two messages today from customers who have not received their stoves. Apparently we have some pretty slow moving mules out there hauling mail this month. Normally these things get anywhere in the US within a week, usually more like 2-3 days, and Canada is usually 10-14 days. If anyone else has not received their stove, be assured all stoves have been mailed out within a day or two of their orders clearing. If you have not received however feel free to contact me, I won't have any unhappy ADV customers if I can help it.
thanks, Stever

The shady stove, heated plenty of hot water up at 5000' for all the kid's hot chocolates on the last sledging adventure.
Note to self, don't try and refill if stove as any flame still going

Was from an msr bottle in day light so I didn't see the small flame. Lucky I was in snow so just pushed the bottle into the snow and explosion averted

Bulb?
I have always thought about this as I have had to wait until the stove went out to refill it. I think that a rubber bulb type device with a thin metal straw might be able to transfer alcohol to the stove while it is burning. The straw would have to be thin enough not to let the flame travel up it. Just a thought as I don't currently have such a device.

I have little plastic bottles with the top having a fold-down squirt stem. You can actually shoot some into the stove with that, but it's just not a real good idea. The stove burns at full power until the last few seconds, then it's simple to refill and re-ignite.
