I thought George Washington National Forest was out of bounds? That is where my search is leading me.

GRAB!

Next to 12814 Lee Highway
Gainesville at the Conway Robinson State Forest

I tried to find Ali last night after work. Unfortunately, its really dark there and I could not see the tag site and then it started snowing so I called it a night.Well, Ali was NOT pleased with being out in the cold all night and copped an attitude, even tried to bite me! Well, I am not going to take such behavior from some damn little gator, so I thought of someway to scare him straight.
OK Ali, I have a "beef" with you. I believe the boys in blue may Well put a Ton of pressure on you to change your ways.

Since I wanted to give Ali a chance to reform, I left him across the blvd from where he would lose his freedom if kept in this center.

The center where Ali would lose his freedom is across this blvd:

You will find Ali at the base of that fence looking thing:

Marked with the A:

Get out there, its a great day to ride

Neat night/day grab and tag! But I must mention that the top case paint job takes KLR-style to a new level. . ..

I thought they normally obtained these by night time runs to the local grocer/restaurant. Hence, color is not usually a choice, but availability is.

True. From the KLR forum:
KLR riders are masters at setting aside pride. It allows them a wider field to adapt from.

Grab!

Freedom Center Road and Wellington. Just across FCR from the West District Prince William Co. Police Station. (While I was there, saw about 10 or so PWC motor officer's head out . . . thought about the guy killed by the cager last week not more than a couple of miles from here . . . .).

Looks like the place.

Hmmmm. Been somebody walkin' around here.

The Scarlet Letter!

And the Gator!

"You brought Big Blue! Cool!"

Left his calling card.

Police station across the street.

Tag

After the dissolute life Ali's been leading lately, we decided he could use a little more religion. So we rode away.

Just a tiny detour on the way, stopped to see George, since we both believe beemers are over all. Then continued on the main road further, until we'd gained enough and had crossed the railroad tracks and just begun to marshall our new site--when I spied the perfect place on the north side of the double nickel.

From the bike.

Looking east from the steps

Looking west from the steps

Tucked in tight by the unused parking barrier

And covered by the piece of concrete

Adding the numbers of the two major roads equals 21.

Please don't teach him how to shoot; could be quite hazardous to both future taggers as well as the general population around tag sites.

No shooting today

Ali didnt get the chance to learn pistol marksmanship. The Red Barn was overcrowded and way overpriced. $25 for a bore snake? Seriously??

Anyway, since we couldn't shoot, I figured it was high time to dump Ali so I can go to Charlottesville and refill my growler with craft beer. I didn't realize that when I rode down this road I would encounter a grove of foxes. Ali says they taste good but are difficult to catch. To find Ali, you can't be a slave and drive a chevy or dodge. And you must carry your model 870 shotgun.

Find this intersection:

Another view:

Ali is at the base of the telephone pole with the board nailed on it:

Down here in the thicket:

Be careful of the commuters fighting for parking or you may end up in the cemetery.
