I put them up on SMJ in 2004, just went to look for them and the pictures are gone.

and looks like everyone's favorite announcer is there, Ralph "Mouth" Shaheen.

all else aside.

who stands to gain the most by winning A1?

who's win would be the biggest splash?

the biggest base hit?

the longest run from scrimmage?

holing the longest putt?

Chad Reed.

Barcia. Period. Come out strong and smoke the field at the first event just to set the tone for the season.

A win for Canard would be big for the same reasons.

A few years ago at a vintage national at Budds Creek, I had the pleasure of meeting Jim Pomeroy. He was a super nice guy who truly loved the sport. We had a short conversation about the Bultaco he was riding and about the old days. He got a kick out of when I told him that I actually remembered the day at my local track, when they announced over the PA, that Jim Pomeroy ha just became the first American to win a motocross GP.

RIP Bimbo

have to disagree. he's won back to back lites titles and has shown he can ride the 450's. he's not quite "expected" to win but if he did I don't think it would raise any eyebrows. I think Reed at his age given the injury, to still go fast enough to win would be

Windham? Nice story but it just ain't happening. If he wins that means there was one whole lot of carnage to everyone else on lap 1 that they didn't red flag. Even if he won you wouldn't expect him to start reeling off wins.

If Reed wins, again, to me, holy cow this guy just doesn't quit.
