motorcycle shipping suggestions

I need to get a 1980 dirt bike from Kingman, AZ to Birmingham, AL. Transportation could easily run more that value of the motorcycle, but I need this bike.

Please make some suggestions for a motorcycle shipping service, or is anyone heading West to East with space available for a dirt bike?

I sold a Honda Reflex earlier this year to a guy who had it shipped from my place near Nashville to New Orleans and I was impessed with the guy who came to collect it. His name was Greg Barlow and you can reach him at 480-275-1940.

He's a semi-retired guy who trailers the bikes and as I recall, he regularly travels from Arizona to the Southeast. I remember asking him about his fees they were pretty reasonable.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

CARL

If you can be flexible on pick up , drop off, and duration of travel, we've had great luck with uship.com. TX to MD in 2011 was $300.

Make SURE you check feedback references though!

Post up in the Regional section for AZ and see if someone might be headed east that can bring it with them. An 80 isn't a very big bike and should fit in about anything.
