You'd never get another speeding ticket.

Rugby, do not buy that Enfield. We need to talk if you are thinking about a hack.

You missed an awesome one. Richard put a BMW R75 engine in a 2002 Ural Tourist. It isn't a new idea, but he's kind of the Godfather of the Ural to BMW engine conversion.

That rig was sweet. If you are serious about a hack, this would be money well spent. Unfortunately it is pending sale right now.

I think I'm going to go grab a soup and sandwich here in a minute around the corner. Is that what you meant?

Well, I can take charge on this one, but we're not going to get much flexibility on dates if I do it.

Anybody got a problem with the January 27th?

Anybody got a problem with Barbecue?

Anybody like airplanes?

(hook baited)

Flying around the country on your private jet for a bbq tour?
I'm in as long as you're treating

Here is my proposition:

Sunday, January 27th. 1PM

The Pik-n-Pig
194 Gilliam McConnell Road
Carthage, NC 28327

It's a BBQ joint on an airstrip. Good food and a good view.

I figure 1pm may be a problem for some though, so pipe in. The Pik-n-Pig is only open from 12-3 on Sundays, so if the time is an issue, I have an alternate location in mind.

What do you guys and gals think?

I'm really flexible on times so it sounds fine to me. I know there are plenty of people here with jobs so they need to chime in. I'm going to repost this in the Raleigh/Fayetteville thread because a few of them live right near there.

The Pig is less than 5 miles from the house, so I think I could make it!

Show time at noon to ensure everyone has time to show and eat?

Leave by way of wheelie down the runway? (I know PLENTY that do exactly this!)

Us Church goin folks can't make a noon Sunday meet.
I'm probably close to 2 hrs, from Carthage.
I'll have to pass on this one.

This Saturday, January 5

A group from the coast is going to meet for lunch on Saturday at the Mad Boar Restaurant.

Hope to see a few from here there.
