I think a /5 is a great choice. When Sam and Birgit stayed with me many years ago I did some work on her bike and I was amazed that other than a reinforced subframe the bike was stock and and was really trouble free for her. In one of Sam's books they talk about what a great machine her bike is. As well a friend and I went to Alaska in 97. I took my sidecar rig and he took his /5. Super simple machine, not much to fail and 8" of suspension travel in the front and zero issues

Anybody have a good suggestion for some non-rubber coated foot pegs for a non-GS airhead?
