OSET is not quite as big as Yamaha & Honda.....Yet If you need prompt assistance you should probably use the old fashioned phone method. Their US website is fairly new and may have some bugs. Cheers SFB |

Snowed last night so the logical thing to do was ride the Oset this morning. I figured it would teach him some throttle control and I wasn't wrong, couldn't believe how far he progressed in 20 minutes of riding.
This was one of the initial passes... admittedly he was trying to throw some roost, but you can see the digital ON-OFF throttle control as well. This is after another 15 minutes or so, I was really happy to see him actually riding slow, which is pretty much the first time he's been able to do it. |

Bought a used one and...
The seller stated it was set up for 24v but has the 36v gear to upgrade. This is an OSET 16, I think the only one that can upgrade.
Well, I open the box and find all the 36v wiring, throttle and regulators but the motor has a 24v ID tag on it. Does anyone know if this is correct and safe. The OSET web site sells 36v motors so its got me perplexed. It's my girls first bike so I'm not too worried about upgrading now but want to be prepare if she states pulling Raga moves within the next month. Thanks all.

I'm still pissed at you for snagging that sweet deal of a GasGas Completely different motors I believe, a 600W/24V one and a 750W/36V. Justin |

Sorry K_N, it was a smokin' deal
and I knew it would go quick to someone. Glad it was me.Figured the 36v motor was different. I think his product knowledge was not quite up to par. well, at least it will only cost me a motor when the time comes.

I ran 36v through a 24v motor for 2 years without any problems, it was softer on the bottom and had a higher top speed than our factory 36v.

Hey guys, got out a little this afternoon. Mid 30s with intermittent snow flurries all day, lots of mud, snow, and ice. I've implemented the "String Mod" and it's not as bad as it sounds.
The little dude is having a ball. ![]() Cruddy panning shot. ![]() The bike was pretty mudded up by the time he was done so we hosed it off (curious how that works with an electric bike :Anybody have a suggestion for grips? I don't like these ergo grips... |

Looking great!
Steve at OSET recommends trials grips.
Any "thin" grip should work. |
