Might as well get over there while you can, even for just a couple of weeks, if you're fortunate enough to where your plans pan out then all the better.

How were the bike rental prices from Italy? I think next time we're flying into Spain, hit Portugal, then focus on France and Italy. A couple of guys I know went to the Alps in July as well and they rented from Spain and the bikes were 40%-50% cheaper than in Switzerland.

Sorry for the late reply, I don't check ADV much anymore.

And sorry but I actually don't have GPS tracks because i wasn't running one on this trip. Just the SPOT tracks I posted on post #48.
