I figured I'd pop in here and say hi to everyone.

Lost the key to my bike a month ago, had taken the whole lock assembly off and to a locksmith (who couldn't find the right blank for it), and in the meantime found the key. Still have to put that lock assembly in, hope to get it done this week between fixing the truck, the caddy, and looking at my wifes car.

That is some good luck there. Better than losing your key in the middle of summer.

Heff, thats a good point.

Mark, I'll be right on it as soon as I get atleast 2 of the other vehicles running. Good thing I can wrench on stuff or I'd be even more broke.

So who's the steering stem bearing master? ...and I need another right side mirror for the seXR if anyone has one to sell. The bike stays as upright as a drunken Irishman.

All I really need are the tools to remove and install new steering stem bearings.

There has to be a way that the hammer and chisel works...but I'm not brave enough to find out.

Any of you riding this weekend?

I know just the person to ask then. It's funny I tend to separate my bike friends from my car friends when it comes to tinkering on stuff. Maybe tools are what will bridge that gap... so we can all be friends.....

BTW For those of you who didn't get out to ride sat, I had enough fun for all of you :)
