RigaDorje,
I am both flattered and humbled that you enjoyed the ride report after noticing you hail from Peru. Outside of the major cities, the Peruvian people are the kindest, most hospitable people I have ever met while traveling. Cheers to you and the fantistic people of Peru! poolman screwed with this post 10-26-2012 at 09:20 PM |

Digging up old RR's but for a good reason! Poolman, this was greatly informative for me and maybe it will be for others as well. Thanks for sharing. I will not have as much time as you in the area of Cusco but I hope to mast of it.
Hope you are enjoying 2013 wherever you are :) |

Thank you for the bump AnjinSan. Several different riders on Adv. are currently making their way through South America, and hopefully this ride report will be of use to those traveling through the Sacred Valley area of Peru. To All - AnjinSan and his wife, have an amazing and thoroughly enjoyable ride report in progress on Advrider documenting their travels through the Americas. The writing and photography presented by this wonderful Romanian couple is not to be missed. Here is a link: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=810189 Best to All, |

Poolman,
Great RR! I wish I would have seen it BEFORE my trip to Peru ![]() I especially liked your detour on the descent from Abre de Lares into Calca. As you saw in our photos, most of that road has now been paved (oddly enough, they're paving from the top down, towards Calca and the valley), but there are still slides that come down and block the road.
