I'd like to carry a set of paper maps as a back up to the GPS data.
Can anyone suggest a set of maps for Canada that are detailed enough
to show the roads this route takes ?

I tried the above link and it takes me to a page that then tells me that my browser does not accept cookies so I cannot put anything in my cart. I went back to the main page and then chose the files section and had no issue putting the TCAT files in my cart.

Using Chrome. Was able to download the files but not via the link above. I did try explorer and had the same problem

Yes Rinho, I'll plan to make it with my G. I plan to make it, and go also in North Alaska. I plan it for 2014.
For 2013, I've made tracks to go in Gaspesia and North of New Brunswick only by trails from St Hippolyte. I've planned max of trails. But it's short travel : only 2500 km.
