Ok, just another 3,5 hours for Eurosport to go on air again. What should I do all that time....? Do the dishes? Sorry Honney, ADVRIDER is on!

In the sand, I'll reckon they'll just have a well defined MX track to follow... wider lines , keep it tapped... a dutch sand expert like Verhoven, or a rapid Husky pilot or even a WORCs racer like Caselli could take the best time... even if they're in amongst the last 20 or 30 or so...

The question is will they want to... tomorrows stage is going to be DECIDEDLY more navigation, longer and in that instance, picking a start spot for SS 2 somewhere around # 10 to fifteen, could see you pull an early five to 10 minute advantage by end of leg two, if you can pull of some stealthy navigation and passes out on the piste... like HogWild mentioned last night when we were debating the pro's and cons of the prologue/SS1 and the multiplication factor (5?) for SS1 stage times.

You spend too much time in the saddle if you have time scan back or the latter part of the pre-Dakar, tons of info, but they don't want to win, it's more about being able to judge coming say 10 th.or so

Your guys are there in force this year.

ES just played their "Dakar advert" which finishes with last year's "shot of the Rally"...

Toby "the Tobinator" Younger (aka The Prince of Darkness) on top of his dune

Now didn't we predict they would be using that in the future
