Thanks for the welcome Grinderman (please tell me your handle references Nick Cave's super bad-ass side project!).

And, yup! Seems like these mods are pretty much essential for anyone wanting full-on 'drop-a-lot, no-breaky, go-anywhere fast, tank mode', and well worth the outlay. I'll post pics as soon as possible and will also have a dig back through the thread to see if I can find your bike for a peep at the future of mine. If it's not on here, it'd be great if you could post a pic.

We are in the dead of winter now...glad I wont lose too many riding days out of this mess. A lot of preventive and regular maintenance is in store for the next few months.

Water pump -CJ
Fuel pump -CJ
Top case
All new fluids
Lighting
SAS/emissions removal

...and anything else I can find to mess with between now and then.

Used mine to take out the Christmas tree for recycling.

Picked it up from 3 Bros in OC..fixed my clutch and gave me an oil change. Price was very good and with all the orange bikes in the shop I was very happy my bike would be with friends.. +1 for Gustavo

Got the orange high fender at home..that will be a job i think i can handle!

At the tree-cycle location, some guy came over and took a couple pictures while I was unloading. We had a nice chat about bikes for a few minutes.
