Good morning,
Thanks again for all support! First day was a nice F5-test and the site survived very well. I think I need some more power though, so I just ordered me some extra server power. I doubled the CPU capacity, so hope it's enough to survive coming days ![]() Enjoy the stage and I'll be around. Regards, Mischa |

Mischa! Dont forget to multiply stage 1 time with 5(bikes, quads(?)) and 3(cars,trucks).
Would be a nice feature to have starting times also. A countdown for every rider would be perfect. Thanks a lot for all of your work! |

live timing - live waypoints (like live tracking on the official site) checkpoints - official checkpoint times (sometimes times appear earlier here, so check them both) standings - official standings Sometimes standings switches to "stage standings" in the bar below. I will fix that in the next hour or so. As soon as the race starts the starting times appear in the "position" column. I have to make some adjustments to bring them earlier, but didn't have time yet to do that. Count down could be nice, but hmm... lets try when I have some spare time left somewhere. I will also make some sitemap with some explanation where you see what. I think the site needs it :-) Regards, Mischa |

From Dakar.com:
Stage 2: Pisco - Pisco The second stage of the 2013 Dakar is a loop around Pisco. After an opener which was more of a warm-up, the racers are about to get down to business with a 327 km trek on sand. An 85 km link section and a 242 km special entirely on the dunes await, but it's not here that the race will be at its most difficult. We'll have to wait until Monday for that... Jaw-dropping landscapes are there for the crews to admire if they have a second to spare as they fight to avoid the traps of the sea of sand. There were no surprises during the first day, apart from American Robby Gordon's stop during the special, in the Car category. Marcos Patronelli, the runner-up to his brother in 2012, made the Top 3 in the Quad category. Only Gerard de Rooy and his team banged their first on the table to show their ambition in the Truck category. The favourites are still very much in the game, as St้phane Peterhansel and Cyril Despres started the rally calmly, almost cautiously. Their ample experience has taught them that a flash of brilliance here and there isn't enough to win the Dakar: it takes grit, consistency and an ability to manage sporting risks. |

Good morning sir!
Bikes seem to be on their way to SS2. Atleast dakar.com is saying the first bike should leave the bivvy at 5:30am. Should take about 1,5h until they get to the DSS. It sucks they didnt have any starting times yet... |

Check the live timing DF (http://www.dakar.com/dakar/2013/us/s...kes-hours.html)
complete list of starting times, quads are also on so we can see who starts with who edit: seems that they don't start with 2 bikes and a quad, might get a bit crowded then |

Helder lost 53 real seconds to Chaleco on stage 1. Times 5, that's 4 min 25 secs. You're doing it 25 x ! |
