I'd been looking for saddlebag racks for our DRs recently and found these Canadian made ones for only $89, with free shipping.
![]() Ordered a couple of sets a few minutes ago. This description is from their web site: "DirtRacks.com sells custom, durable dual sport motorcycle racks, saddlebag support racks, cargo racks, pannier mounting frames and side crash bars for KAWASAKI KLR650 , HONDA XR650L , SUZUKI DR650 dual purpose bikes. Also, dual sport, dirt bike, and adventure touring motorcycle gear, accessories, racks and luggage."

For anyone who might be looking for some deals on Giant Loop soft luggage, Atomic-Moto has good prices right now on some specific pieces (Great Basin, Coyote and Mojavi bags for sure) and also some sales on some Klim pants. I just ordered a Coyote bag for $247, which is about $80 off the regular price. Shipping to Canada was a very reasonable $30.
Apparently, a new line of Giant Loop products is due to be released soon, so I guess this would be the reason for price marked-downs. http://www.atomic-moto.com/this_months_bombs.html

Ottawa bike show
Anyone go to the bike show yet? If you did is it worth it or should I wait for Montreal?

All depends on what your expectations are. I was there last night with some buddies from work. Because it was kind of a social thing with some buddies, I'd say I quite enjoyed it. If I went by myself with the sole purpose of seeing exotic bikes, I would have been disappointed. But it's certainly not on the same scale as the big show in Toronto, or even the Montreal show. But it's definitely improved and continues to grow over the last few years. The first shows they held at Lansdowne were pretty lame.
All the usual suspects were there: Wheelsport brought Suzuki, KTM, Victory, Powersport brought Honda, Yamaha and a handful of Ducatis. Some other vendors like insurance folks, Amzoil, a few riders clubs, schools, etc. The blues band Monkey Junk was playing and they were good, but the acoustics in the CE Centre are not good. Big Rig Brewery was there with a decent size cup of beer for $5, and a good selection of nice beers (that was the highlight for me), and Fatboys BBQ had ribs and pulled pork sandwiches for just $5. GoodTime Centre was not there, so no Kawi, BMW, Triumph. The vintage motorcycle club was there with an impressive bunch of bikes. Not much in the way of shopping deals if you're looking for gear/clothing/accessories. I bought some Rox Straps.
