Parker 250 race
Anyone know the best spot to watch the Parker 250 race, aside from the Casino? Looking for a place as close as possible to Bouse. They don't publish a map of the course until a few days before the race which is Jan 11th and 12th.

there are some view spots along the riverwash for camping/viewing and north of the casino where the course goes under the freeway is a good spot and seemed to have lots of fans.

Parker race
Shea Rd is as good as it gets, just past town on your left.

Osbourne wash was always good, and there was a little tight canyon about a 1/2 mile long just before Swansea that was pretty cool ( like a short version of Titus Canyon in Death Valley )
However the last time I raced it was in 1994 when it was the Parker 400 so I don't even know if the course even goes by those places anymore |

The spectator areas for the race are the Parker Python (main pit). Shea road (along the road and further down on the left and then all the way to the road closed sign), you need a pit pass to get to the pit at midway (Swansea road out of Bouse).
Here is a link for the information on spectator areas. It does not show the back which has a map of each area. http://www.bitd.com/images/stories/p...ctatorInfo.pdf Enjoy the race! |

Thanks guys. My plan is to ride up Swansea Rd from Bouse to Shea Rd and find a place to set up a folding chair. Hoping for a nice sunny day with the dust blowing the other direction.

Thanks,
I've decided to take Shea Rd off 95 to the BLM 14 day camping area Thursday and stay for a few days. Can ride the dual sport from there to a good viewing area. Quote:
