If you're talking about the man who formerly owned the BMW dealership, no need. I've heard of George off and on over the years, local legend, just didn't know it was him with the hack, and never met him, as I've never been into Beemers.

I'm sure there are tons of references to him on this site, as there should be.

Do Beemers still have the sideways kickstart on the left?

I wish kick starters were still available but I have never heard of any made since the mid-80's. There is an R1200C with a sidecar running around most of the year owned by the former Beemer salesman at the Harley shop and I'm told that there are at least 6 Urals in town.
