Great pics. Granted I am not a world traveler, but out of the places I have been, Charleston is my favorite. The family and I try to visit at least once a year.

More tag game fun. This one is from Johns island Sc. It's the second largest island in America and very rural. I think it's a perfect example of low country scenery. It's well worth checking out if you ever get down to the Charleston area.

![]() Cottonmouth! How long in advance did you make reservations for Long Key? Hard to get in there this time of year. I got one night in early March. I'll just ride the bike down. You remember if site #5 was a good one? |

We made the reservations a few months ago. I believe they had been closed for maintenance so it was pretty wide open. That being said we did have to change campsites every single day which was a royal pain in the ass. We stayed in site 5 one night. It's fine, nothing good or bad about it. If I were to go back I'd stay at a site around #30 it was the only site with good shade and coconut palms on both sides. I meant to write down the number but I never got around to it. I'm sure if you called the ranger and asked for the site with coconuts on each side they'd know which one.
I've now stayed at all the state parks in the keys. My first choice for camping would be Bahia honda, followed by curry, then long key, finally Johnpennecamp.

Didn't do any riding today but I did order a stebel horn and some nice super snazzy reflective tape for my side cases.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/180826875599 I did however go to the beach and find some shells on this fine day with weather in the 70s. ![]() Folly Beach Sunday Jan. 13th, 2012 by dsrphotography, on Flickr ![]() Folly Beach Sunday Jan. 13th, 2012 by dsrphotography, on Flickr ![]() Moose & Sandra - Folly Beach - 01/13 by dsrphotography, on Flickr ![]() Beach Life at Folly Beach by dsrphotography, on Flickr ![]() Sandra digging around on Folly Beach by dsrphotography, on Flickr ![]() Beach Life at Folly Beach by dsrphotography, on Flickr ![]() Beach Life at Folly Beach by dsrphotography, on Flickr ![]() Dolphin at Folly Beach 01/13 by dsrphotography, on Flickr

Got my reflective tape today. This is the same stuff they put on fire trucks and school buses . The plan is to put it on the back of the cases and the side..next thing to do is install the stebel horn. Maybe I'll do a before and after video for that one.

What's this have to do with exploring the south? Nothing...I just miss the old XR and found this pic while looking though my lightroom catalog. Can't beat riding through the desert in the spring.
This was taken on the Queen Valley loop in Queen Valley Arizona. http://www.atv.com/features/the-ariz...alley-756.html
