see what one bad thai lunch can do to your f5 aspirations...

50 odd pages of of backwash from the f5irehose... THAT's what!

so here's how it all wnnt down f5 style!

early navigation mayhem in the early tough part of the stage between WP2 and WP3...

including front pack runners Barreda and Fish from team Spadebeen, this set the tone for their day, with Fish dropping 20 minutes or more and Barreda finishing with a pretzeled rear wheel

JC stopped at a baja fish taco stand (what looked like one ) after 10 km's and spent the day servicing the hactory fondue.

ASO dakar/tracker experiencing troubles... feels like I've been 205'd from about ten years back...

Chaleco had a flyer (again) today... like he's a local (almost?)

Faria played corporate backstop today and followed the boss frrom a rear guard action...

Pål Anders Wheelbarrow almost tossed his brick in the pit and had to "lay 'er down" mid piste (bet he was pissed) but with PAU... it's hard to tell, his a pretty sedate and calm dude...

HONDA's 6 month factory effort seems to have run out of warranty already... the wheels are falling of Mr yamazaki's little red wagon... and there is nothing in the manual about "imminent fubar".

rmhrc628 is reportedly sitting out in the desert back home in Oz for 3,5 hours... as an act of solidarity...

Verhoven had a BIG f%-ing off on the best bike he's ever raced...

Husqvarnas campaign is enjoying highs and low's in rapid succession and the "customer" is doing better than the staff at the moment.

BULTACO... over and out.

and KTM... well... it's KTM... situation normal; the stranglehold slowly takes it's grasp. Cyril Duplo - best of the Lego soldiers over the last three consistenly quick (but not fastest) days and takes his position at the top of the heap.

Mischa.nl. got some seawater in the server at one stage... must have been high tide in Holland today? All systems are go again apparently... so it's 200% full steam ahead for stage 4 tomorrow...

El Matadoor got a refund at the ASO beauty shop for the Bugly, and shot off out of the ticket office like there was a Ricky Martin concert to get to in Nazca...! Electric problems would put a friz in his perm though and he finished just out of paparazzi camera range.

Nasser also got a refund on his tickets from the ASO box office, got upgraded from the cheap seats, tore down the red carpet and got to the finish banner in fine style... from zero to hero the Qatar Qars are both going quickly (so far? )

SPEED Gordon made a charge today... and is "still in it to win it" from here...

Perfecthansel (like CDP) is conservatively quick, always near the front, not often with a foot wrong... has all the hall marks of putting #11 together. unfortunately Holowcycz had a prang today... and seem unlikely that he will continue... so MINI's are down to three...

And finally... "Manny the used mousse hunter" became "Stringchesse"... as a result of his nomadic bivouac recycling practices...

That's all the news that's not f5it to print... we now return you over to Carlton in the central commentary position... just in time for the Eurosplurt 22:00 GMT show!!!!!

and all on page 205... how appropriate...

OK, what's left in Manuel's Mousse Fund?
I guess we need to extend the budget to a couple of hundred marker pens.

Doing my roadbook for tomorrow, looks like there will be loads of navigation! Im really happy on how these 3 stages went, i have been riding without pushing, concentrating only on conserving the bike and my energies. Not worth pushing cos anyway i still have to work a lot to be able to ride for top positions so 30, 50, 80, 100th place doesn't make any change but getting to the end instead would make a big change! I keep focused on my objective and want to thank everyone that is supporting and cheering for me :)

Nice!

Been looking at a budget. If I up my income/save about $1500 per month. Next year I can take the iPad to Dakar and just travel from team to team taking pix and updating ADV!! I got the ride covered. Time to pimp my biz, myself, something

Onya Troy!
Glad to hear Fish made the stage finish: was worried he'd have to sacrifice his bike for the poster boy out there.

That VW looks like it was made for North America, but they never brought it over.
