Far out. That is harsh. Especially as he'd clearly been pushing his way home despite earlier issues. Tough bloke no matter what. Let's hope he's all tickety-boo and heals up quick.

Live from the Dakar bivouac, having an awesome dinner with the spanish team Pedrega that is assisting 3 venezuelan riders and 1 colombian. They are helping me so much and i want to thank them all for letting me be part of the team!!! Pedrega brought a nice good ham so here we are, the bivouac is really magic!!! Ps. I want to thank also Simon Pavey for giving me some of his used (they are practically new) mousse for the next stages!!! ![]() Like · · Share · 151 · 36 minutes ago ·

That's a bummer about Don!! Super guy
I was really hoping that this was his year to finish! Just curious was he acting as Pavey's WC or were they just riding together?

On a day that saw many competitors come to grief on the long and challenging stage, it's clear that Lyndon is having a blast and enjoying the ride. Listen in, you'll be grinning ear to ear by the end, too. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride, Lyndon! Keep it Pyn'd!
