![]() Approached to help out at the pitstop of a team in the Junior. No worries! Given the job of opening and closing fuel cap, and attending to the rider's needs while the fuel goes in, such as visor clean/ repacement, glove swap, water intake etc.. The fuel is replenished with a rather rudimentary gun, with gravity being the only assist. Takes a whille, and as with all these fuel guns, they tend to dribble a bit when finished. The key is to be patient and concentrated on getting the job done smoothly and positively, rather than in a panic, and plashing fuel all over your riders gonads. That wouldn't be good...oh no. Not much room in that little cubicle for 3 blokes, tools and tyres. And you have to stay there till the bike comes to a halt. All very high tech... ![]() ![]() Our boy. 'I just want to finish!" Fair enough. ![]() Not sure I'd be putting that on my fairing... ![]() ![]() ![]() The crew ![]() Nerves? Whoa yeah!!! ![]() ![]() A tap on the shoulder...and you're ON.
