Hello! Somehow i am still alive ;-)
As i expected - after Mongolia trip hard times have come ;-)
Last year I had incredibly small amount of money so I decided to go somewhere close.
I went for a couple of days to Balkan countries and I loved it!!

This year it is even worse with money ;-)
I just lost my job, so in some 2-3 weeks I am starting my new trip with having around 300 euro in my pocket
Greetings,
piotrek

Good luck with your upcoming trip!

It may be a great adventure. Eons ago (ahem...), while in college, I spent a summer vacation crisscrossing Western Europe with my then-girlfriend. Our home currency was not convertible, all we had was $400 (a lot of money for us, but a pittance in the West) and that had to suffice for gas and food for the duration.

Admittedly, it appears that, in the days well before anti-terrorist and anti-immigrant hysteria, it was much easier to find overnight camping spots and odd jobs to supplement our resources.

Still, seeing your resourcefulness, I have no doubt that you will do just fine!

I just read this ride report from beginning to end - so well-written and so much fun! I admire your "go anywhere" attitude! Thanks for taking the time to post pictures and write a report.

Very nice. Best quote, "I'm Polish. I don't pay fines."
