Sounds like Andrew Scott did Australia proud! RedHat will you be linking to your youtube once it's up?
Edit: New sig shows Dakar round-up page - in it's infancy right now. @Flood, I used your gif via storify, so it credits the RallyRaidio twitter direct - that ok by you?

Caught the tail end of the France 4 coverage. Great stuff there! Bookmarked and ready to rock tomorrow on my iPhone!
I know it's a race and all, but those guys were going waaay to fast down that rocky section... talk about serious life threatening injury time... YIKES! |

ROd Faggotter: Ok peeps, Rod came in 13th today with stage 4. Making him Ranked 17th. I'm so proud and thankful to all your support, without you he wouldn't be having as much fun I reckon. Day 4 and 17th that's pretty awesome....

So I did some nerding it up by analyzing sector times.
- Our boy shoestring was third quickest between WP5 and WP6. - Cyril Despres was as high as 7th quickest from WP3 to WP4 and as low as 32nd quickest from WP8 to ASS. Starting 15th tomorrow, he will have some dust to deal with. The dunes are gone and we are moving into stony, dusty, dry track. Interestingly though, this is similar to the WP3 to WP4 section where Cyril was at his best. - We have to go back to 2009 for a rally where Despres did not win one of the first 4 stages. - Helder was pretty quick in the sector times towards the tail end of the stage and was quickest from WP8 to ASS by 30 seconds. Barreda dropped way off to 11th quickest.

Life imitates art...
Guy in black cap... back to camera: "Well, I just crunched all the data... re-checked the numbers in the fuel matrix and cross referenced with the EFI heat/altitude algorithms...
... and came up with two interesting facts..." ![]() Y-zaki-san; "Yes... and this was...?" ![]() Black cap: "Well apparently there are 4.54 liters in an imperial gallon... ... but only 3.785 in a US gallon..." ![]() Y-zaki-san: " Damn that Johnny an his baja quickfills!"
