Help! Want to buy a ADV 950 in VANCOUVER Can.
Hi folks,
I will saddle next march in Vancouver. Sadly I've got leave my ADV 950 in Germany. Doe to that I'm looking for a "new" pre-owned one. If someone wants to sell his bike, or has got an idea where I can find one please let me know. I prefer the 950ies.... But if there is a 990 outside, who knows.......? Do you have any recommendation for a KTM Dealer in the Vancouver area? Thanks a lot, and hopefully we'll have a cool ride soon, ![]() m.

I don't know the Vancouver motorcycle market that well but I do know the Vancouver motorcycle show is right around the corner and is know to be a good one. A great way to get to know the area's dealers. A couple of us are driving up from Seattle on Sunday to check it out.

Watch the flea market thread in the Canada forum here on ADV Rider. There is the occasional listing on Vancouver Craigslist.

Holeshot Motorsports
Holeshot Motorsports in Langley or No Limits Motorsports in Squamish. Both pretty good dealers. Holeshot probably has more experience with LC8's. Larger volume dealer.

Great Victoria dealer
These guys are good also. Really good LC8 tech works there, Sparky (Mark).

Is there any reason why you want to pick up a bike in Canada and not the United States? It seems like bikes are a bit less expensive in the US, and Vancouver is just across the border from Washington State.

will bring some beers from Munich![]() ....there is no special reason for buying in Canada, but I'm not sure about the import and tax rules. So USA could also a good option. For the moment I've got enough redtape with our immigration, but I will figure out. See you, m. |

Ah, I thoght maybe you were going to pick up a bike for an extended vacation / adventure. If you'll be living in Canada, I think it makes sense to purchase a 950 there. Good luck!

RIV list
Sadly, no KTM's newer than 2007 can be imported from US to Canada. Dealer protection !
But not too problematic if you want a 950!
