What happened in the end? I mean I 've seen anything from the thong to the dog, but still I don't know how much this interesting bike finally weights, how it handles, how much it costed, where did it travelled... maybe its my suspicius nature but this thread's course and end reminded me of a commercial...

I'm busy with other things in life

In short: went to Ukrain and Russia last year. Very Very happy with the bike!! It rides super!
Only the front fork is too narrow. Hot Rod Eric will make wider clamps this year I hope!! It will help me with better turning :)

Wheels: perfect
Baseplate: perfect
Fairing: perfect
Rally dashbord: perfect
shock: perfect
X rack: more than perfect
and all the other things: perfect

Last but not least!! The Rayz seat www.rayz.nl brought me 9000km without any pain!!!

Good to know: for an X Country, X Challange, GS1200 Ray can make a seat without bringing your bike!! Because we have the bikes! You can just send your seat by post from anywhere in the world. For the best seat of the world (and thats serious!!)

Costs in total? Ehhhmmmm 5000€ + 5000€ ?? Or so?? Something like that
Weight? No idea

Actually our Storm isn't a Hovawart, but his father is.
He's a crossbreed (I don't want pedigree dogs, they seem to have more problems often), a bit broader and tougher than a hovawart, but it still shows for sure.
He's also my regular sidecar passenger (about 30.000 kms in 5 years)
