hangover hare scramble lap 1 from Chris Shafer on Vimeo. i need to get more aggressive early on I was a bit to content to sit behind slower riders, and i didn't even mentally process those 2 guys where stopped until i was sitting behind them. |

My biggest mistake was stopping and then contemplating dropping out of the race over a destroyed rotor while the entire C and 40+ classes passed me. Fortunately my senses came back and I remembered I'm way too cheap to spend $99 and NOT ride.

Man, some of you guys had a rough day. My bike got beat up and I got asspacked/cornholed/ran the fawk over but other than very sore, I was intact.
The guy at the 3:11 mark dislocated his shoulder btw. First 3 mins. I didn't even make it to the first turn before I got ran into the first time (I was shoved into the guy on the honda) Had a nice little chat with the OP while trying to get my arm to work again (I had gotten clipped in the elbow by a passing bike. Funny story, out of all the other riders out there, the guy to clip me was a buddy I gave a ride to)

And here is where I got nailed. 100% my fault. I got all screwed up in the rut and fell right in front of the guy.

crofrog: OUCH on the arm/wrist/finger. :( No fun. Was wondering what is your bike/setup. Currently I'm on a 200EXC with a stock pipe, but the 2 stroke hit/on the pipe is just an explosion. Was listening to your bike and a few other vids with two strokes in them and it seems other guys have a smoother on the pipe transition/when I'm lugging it in mid range your bikes sound like they're getting on the pipe. If that makes any sense. Basically mine seems to be lug it around a bit or full blown throwing dirt everywhere. Should there be some good mid range "on the pipe" action?

jetting was 45pj 185mj CCK 4th clip (from top) It was a tad to rich. That's really close for 35f sealevel it was 50 should have gone down to 42pj, 3rd clip, 182. the stock NOZE needles are triple taper and the first taper is much to rich. Good for MX bad for trail riding. |

H&H are mostly in the desert and are two separate 30-40ish mile loops rather than 2 hours worth of laps around the same loop of a HS
