@Ant_Ware Cool! You should write a ride report, Ant. I can almost, uh, hear the radio playing... :)

Yep, it's always only Adelaide in the bivouac nowadays. I don't know if Carlton ever was on the ground. Toby Moody used to be there.

Report that Matt Fish has stopped to help Barreda. Wondered if Fish would be there.

Pal Anders is in, 22' off. Another knock to podium aspirations.

Hey Ned, quick question.

Did you still have to use a pump with the carbs? Some of the tanks were lower than the carb right?

Thanks

Can't say I prefer Adelaide... At least Gernot seemed to have some rapport with the players in the bivouac.

No fuel pump on the Rally Moto Kit.

BTW, I think Toby was the "official" English language guy back in the day, doing the job that Ben Constanduros is doing now (hence why he was on the ground there).

Here's the RallyRAIDio interview from Behind the Media Curtain with Ben from last year:

We get an insider's look "behind the curtain" where the ASO produces the video feed for the Dakar Rally with BenConstanduros. If you've ever marveled at the stunning images from the rally, you'll be amazed by the logistics required to get them worldwide from a race day that spans hundreds of kilometers. If you've ever been frustrated by what's been show (or hasn't been shown), insight, too, on that. Thanks, Ben! Hardcore Rallye Tragics, don't miss this one.

You can follow Ben on twitter @BenConsty, or check out his site and blog at http://benconstanduros.com/blog
