If you are on the liason you are suppose to follow the local traffic and speed zones and it will be a penalty if you dont so the rider/driver have to be alert in what speed zone he is in. It is not only a time penalty given to the one that get caught speeding as there is a money ticket also that is not cheap.

Usually,by the time you realise the bike is on fire, you just jump off and run,I definitely would'nt be keen to go back and try and unsecure an extinguisher, here is a pic of Bruno Da Costa's 450 JVO Yam that caught fire when we were on Rallye Maroc 2 years ago,60 seconds and the mix of 25 litres fuel, plastic and magnesium would beat most small extinguishers.

The GPS the ASO makes them install is supposed to flash when you go to fast on transits
5) In a Speed Control Zone, if the 30, 50 or 90 kph limit is exceeded, a signal will appear on the GPS’s screen to indicate excess speed and its recording.

Carlos Sainz was looking a bit buggered in the coverage, looks like a privateer.

Also must be a pain being a trukkie and being asked to rescue all the idiot buggie drivers who can't drive for shit. Looks like the usual, you help too many people then you stuff it for yourself suddenly being a back marker and stuck in all the carnage and churned up fesh fesh..

There is another female in the bike race, but I admit I can't remember her name.

This is probably a good time to mention that I miss my girl, Ludvine.

And of course, the Rally Princess, Annie Seel.
