Casteau and Pedrero are opening the road (close together) thru WP2 with Pain and Botturi together about a minute back...

Caselli is leading on corrected time by virtue of his 20th start pos. he has come up on the leaders (timewise), but is stilly physically back in 18th position on the road.

When you consider it's day six... there's only 20 minutes overall seperate the top ten... and you can drop that easy on a day like today... this is a tight ol' race developing.

After 45 km of the special stage, Alain Duclos has been at a standstill for a few minutes in a zone of dunes. He has been joined by Frank Verhoestraete, his team-mate in the Sherko team, as well as by the other rider on the team, British biker James West.

Quintanilla #183 appears to be missing...started 53rd but not showing to WP1 yet...I'm hoping it's a wonky tracker again
The bike that started 49 also awol...maybe nav error?
