Thanks everyone! Feels good to post a ride RR/video before the next ride occurs. I still have 10+ videos to do but am waiting until I get up to speed on Premiere CS6, a huge learning curve from iMovie.

That looks like Fort Irwin area north and west of Calico.

There are some fun routes and things to see in Calico as well, some good shooting areas out Mule Canyon, and Bismark Mine is fun to crawl through. It's about a half mile long. In one section you have to crawl thru on your elbows, but it comes out the other side. Kinda spooky.

I have not ridden the Ft. Irwin area but George Erl (Uptite) use to go out there all the time, would never tell anyone where it was...super secret!

we were following existing trails, although some of them were pretty obscure and barely visible, as it had rained there recently.

The 1st GE photo Tony posted shows where they rode. The last time I rode that area I don't recall seeing any trails as "marked". But that was 10-12 years ago, so I've slept a few times since them.
