There are 2 DS rallys in Idaho - First 2 full weekends in July. North Idaho Selkirks Rally near Sandpoint July 7-8 and KLIM Adventure Rally in SW Idaho July 13-15.

Need to change from the 4th weekend to an earlier one I would say :-)

If you want a more pure offroad experience there is the Fringe MC club Hot and Dusty Poker Run July 28-29.

Another end of July event for dual sport is in B.C. July 27-29, Princeton area, BC.

Scavenger Hunt II - Dualsport & Street for Riders for Health Aug9-11th

http://www.payitsquare.com/collect-page/10451 All proceeds benefit Riders for Health. The only non-profit organization that uses 80% of it's fleet as dualsport motorcycles to support health care in remote African countries.
This is the 2nd year and will be a blast. Come out and camp for the weekend or just participate for the day. Great door prizes, presentation on Experience Africa, great routes, huge campfire and group dinner/potluck planned.
