O dia de hoje estava a correr na perfeição, estava na frente da corrida até à neutralização, mas logo após iniciar a segunda secção da especial a moto teve um problema elétrico que me obrigou a parar, tendo perdido muito tempo, terminando o dia na 64ª posição. Hoje foi um dia muito difícil para a equipa Husqvarna Speedbrain. Abraço"

Good folks! This day was running perfectly, I was in front of the race until the neutralization, but soon after starting the second special section of the bike had an electrical problem that forced me to stop, having lost a lot of time, ending the day at the 64th position. Today was a very difficult day for the Team Husqvarna Speedbrain. Hug (

I can just imagine how stoked Lyndon will be with that slow mo footage of him and his bike, he will be showing that to the grandkids in the future. Almost as good as a finishers medal.

They should make a list of penalty's and the reason they were given, now you just have to guess but the above can idd be the reason for the big penalty. Also some penalty for the engine swaps...

Yes, I wish we could see the penalty breakdown here. Or give the crew a dang cell phone that works and affordable.
He did do engine swaps at stage 2 and 4. But they don't cause that much penalty that's listed, do they? How much time is penalized for engine swaps?

15 minutes for the first change of engine, 45 minutes for the second, two hours for third and subsequent changes.

Struggles face the support crew as well... email from the Freedom Rally team states "The support road is tough today. Bent a wheel on the support truck and got a flat on the RV."
