Doesn't matter, I'll be in town and I'm 5 minutes from downtown.
A civilized person has a proper cocktail in the 5pm hour... just sayin

I'll text you when I am getting close

I am not sure me drinking before six is going to result in anything resembling being civilized but count me in on such fine cultural pursuits.

Cool ABhulgan! Glad you're coming out!

Hawk ~ I never would have guessed that cocktail hour is 5ish. That's a pretty good idea, starting early Just txt me and we'll get the party started . You aren't riding are you? I've been seeing the weather is calling for some showers tomorrow

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I was waiting for someone to respond to that.

Hawk and I were talking about you and Janet last night. Hope she's doing well Apparently I am attending the March Moto Madness Can't wait to see you!

Also.....

I'm riding this Saturday. At the Lookout Valley Exit Cracker Barrel eating Breakfast at 8am
Leaving at 9am, from the parking lot.

Bring a lunch/snack
Game plan is to ride to Franklin State Park and cruise around there. Big bikes welcome, since we'll hit some good twisty roads on the way.
Also will go down Sewanee Mtn by way of the old railroad bed, which there is one kinda nasty spot, but shouldn't be too difficult.

Goal is to get out early b/c the ever correct weatherman is calling for showers after 1pm, cover some good territory and head back and be back in the Chattanooga area around 2 or 3pm.

And of course, everything could change life happens.

Spoken like a man who was at the party. I tried to talk a fella into riding pillion with me this Saturday, but he's gotta work. Why are good men so hard to find?

I'll be there Saturday, Squirrelly.

Aight! Well the DOG's where over in Lafayette/Chattooga County area, almost showed up to their ride, but Timbo showed up at the Crack House just in time!

Here's a few pics of the ride this weekend;
Saturday morning I had breakfast by myself, it seems to becoming a trend

Brent and I meeting Tim at the gas, after Tim found out he really didn't need that Synthetic quart of oil

Our first stop was here;

Then we walked up to Signal Pit in the Hale's Bar area, up this super uber steep RR bed;

On the way out;

More to come....... Just give a few moments

We zipped thru Ladd's Mtn and road up 156 and finally made it to Franklin State Forest.
Our first of the mudd debacle awesomeness of trails of the day;

Our Slip'N'Slide trail;

Tim's rear, after the Slip'N'Slide trail;

Parked for lunch;

Brent and Tim still finding Second Lunch;

Some scenery;

One of Tim's miraculous fast pick ups;

Lovely small creek, Brent's KLR is pointed in the direction we are going. The side of the KLR has a very lovely uphill challenge, when one is on a hefty lil piglet of a 1200~!

Duly note the decent sized rocks...............

But alas, this awesome lil trail was not meant to be ridden that day;

On to the RR bed ..............................

I get nervous leading a ride, so I forced Brent into getting us to the trail head of the RR.

Tim did very well on this part and it was sooo much fun!

Great day for riding! 70+ degrees weather! Awesome! We all got back to Lookout Valley and all three of us were sooooo tired! I slept very well. Awesome day!

Hey all, I posted up here a few months ago about our possible relocation to your area. Looks like as time goes on, it's becoming more likely. Thank's for all the info, email, and PMs. It sure is making it hard to stay here after reading the riding adventures.

We will be in town starting tomorrow, and plan to visit this fabled brewhaus (probably more than once). We'd sure like to meet up with you all and have a few beers and tell outrageous lies.
