I am trying to teach her some general rules:
1. Always work hard and don't be happy with the first result. Go for the best solution always. ![]() 2. Being polite, nice and respectful doesn’t necessarily mean being uncool.

Best thread ever
So I found this thread and thought cool. Then I started looking/reading and in between wiping my eyes and having to stop (getting to be such a boob in my 'old' age), I have managed about a third of it; the rest will follow. Thanks to the OP and all who have contributed. So here is my bit. There is nothing quite like the love a good dad has for a daughter, perhaps no more or less than other true love; but different none the less.
So... when this one was born (1988) I gave up the street bike. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps839bd382.jpg But we did manage to get in a few 2 wheel adventures..., have always had at least one bike of some sort, since I was 9. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...psf6ce0e5d.jpg Then a son came into the picture. And girl/boy twins. A few moves, career change 6 more years of school for me. And in 2002 we restarted like this... http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...pscf4441b4.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps2c3270dc.jpg #1 daughter... http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...psf7db64f5.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...psa532e503.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps108d8234.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps47c5a8dc.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps22aed8c7.jpg #2 daughter http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...psec894a79.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps1e0eca20.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps062e7ec0.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...pse90bea47.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps18d03c95.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...psdcf7813e.jpg Then they do this... http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps7351326e.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...psec1cc969.jpg An ode to the boys..... http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps66134ab2.jpg Take/Make time, it is all we have; a limited amount, and who knows how much for each of us. Teach your boys to cook and sew, your girls to shoot, wrench and spit |

Yeah Indy the 'kids' are now 24, 22 and 19. The eldest's boyfriend asked me for her hand at Christmas dinner. We are trying to figure out a time to get a 'last' 3 day road trip in on the new bike.May be a while b4 the next.
