About the handlebars, the information is also in the user manual.

Here in the USA you can get a Pinlock visor insert, appears to be the same thing as the Ralieri. I have a Pinlock on my helmet and it's very effective at preventing fogging.

The handlebar adjustment procedure has never been in the USA owner's manuals, only the service manuals. The link to the FJR forum will provide the answer though and it's easy and quick to do.

I've been considering a Pinlock visor insert. But we're nearly halfway through January, which means winter is almost over here in Arkansas

Mine? No, I don't notice any of those but I do have a poor sense of smell. The only thing I smell is the wood burning fireplace (the bike is well away from the fireplace ).

I live in Florida, and I always wear my pin-lock. Rain, heat & humidity add up to foggy visor.

The roads are covered in salt and Russell has my seat right now. Fjr hasn't moved in a couple of months.

The klr, however, is still getting ridden regularly.

There's a good writeup on the 2013 FJR in this month's Motorcycle Consumer. They dyno tested the motor, it's producing ~8 more horsepower than the 2012, and the stopping distance is reduced. Their write up seems pretty fair to me.
