hola amigos,

i'm back in the saddle. i couldn't stay away for too long. just picked up an '05 r1200gs. took a nice 1/2hr ride today. a little chilly, yes, but not too bad.

looking forward to doing some rides with some of yous this year. no, i won't be doing any dual sports or turkey runs with this bad mamajama, but i would like to do some fun adv rides...puppy dog, rural maine/nh, etc.

at some point i'll have to breakdown and get a 250 2 smoker to get back to the dirt.

hope everyone's doing well.

Watch for our (Liza and I) announcement about our new campground/recreation area in southern NH...Motorsport friendly, big group/event specialized

We will be doing multiple motorcycle events here (competition, rally's with D/S-Adv stuff, etc...just the thing for you and your new bike)

2005 - got delivered today. the thing is mint. 9000 miles! not even broken in yet. slapped a plate on it and hit the road. smooth as butter. came with cases too.

Plugging away, 1.5 hrs of pt everyday, developing some strength in my legs. Still no feeling but I'm learning to live with it. It's the new normal for me. I had a thread going but have not updated it in months. Nice ride report, I would so love to do something like it one day. If all goes well and I keep at it I should be back on the Klr this summer.

Thanks Dave. Yeah, I'm psyched. I find myself wandering out to the garage...often.

We only moved up north for a couple of months. Still in Medford. My company is up in Seabrook now.

You still rocking the V-Strom & DRZ? I miss my DRZ.

No shit dude? Can't feel em at all? Keep at that PT. It'd be good to go on a few rides with you this year.

Amazing what we can adapt to when we must. My sister has MS and can't tell where her feet are, yet she still goes skiing. Falls a lot, but more importantly she keeps getting up. She inspires me. Improvise, adapt and overcome, right?
